Aerial work platforms: what makes them different and when is it worth using them?

The distinctive feature and main advantage of aerial work platforms is their ability to work in areas with limited access. They are equipped with an articulated arm (boom), at the end of which there is a special basket that acts as a mobile platform for lifting goods or a working platform for height workers. "Bending" at different angles, the arm gives great manoeuvrability (both vertically and horizontally), enables precise positioning of the platform, avoiding obstacles and reaching even hard-to-reach places. Thus, the aerial work platform significantly improves work at height and increases its efficiency.

Aerial work platforms: what makes them different and when is it worth using them?

The possibilities of using aerial work platforms are very wide. They are suitable for, among other things, construction work (site maintenance and transport of materials), assembly and cleaning services, maintenance of buildings or various types of equipment (e.g. façade renovation, traffic light repairs). They are also used in rescue missions, the advertising industry or events, wherever work is performed at height that requires freedom of movement and maximum safety for workers.
