Reversible compactors weighing 450-550 kg: what are their characteristics?
Reversible compactors are used for efficient compaction of medium to deep granular ground. They are an efficient alternative to rollers, especially when working in tight spaces.
Available from Ramirent, the 450-550 kg reversible compactors feature key start, variable speed and directional control. The specially designed centre drawbar generates very low vibration and a visual indicator indicates the optimum state of soil compaction (if the number of lights on does not increase, maximum compaction has been reached). Intuitive indicators make it easy to control the machine.
Before working with the compactor, check the cleanliness of the air filter, engine oil level and fuel level. In addition to basic protective equipment (helmet, goggles, sturdy shoes), it is important to wear anti-vibration gloves when working on the machine. When work is finished, switch off the engine and allow it to cool down before cleaning the compactor.
