Sludge pump: when and how to use it?

The sludge pump is used to pump water out of excavations - both dirty and clean. Unlike other machines of this type, it has special seals to prevent damage from sand, stones or sludge. It is worth bearing in mind that the dirtier the water, the more powerful the pump must be.

How to use a diesel sludge pump?

Check the oil level and fuel tank before starting work. Then check the condition of the air filter. If it is clean, you can start the machine. If it is gently fouled, it is enough to foul the air. Also, the condition of the case should be checked. Once all these items have been checked, the hoses can be connected. Information about the direction of the water flow, compatible with the direction of the water flow, find the casing. Then the water should be poured into the tank (the pump cannot work dry) - to the moment, the hose will leak. Once all these steps have been completed, the pump is ready for operation.
