What uses can compactors have in your garden?
What are the types of compactors?
Compactors come in many varieties. They differ in their weight (in our offer you will find compactors weighing from 60 to 500 kg), as well as in the way they are guided. We distinguish between manually guided compactors, self-sliding, walking and attached to other machines.
What can a compactor in the garden be useful for?
A compactor is an extremely useful machine. With it we can compact soil, but also sand, and even concrete or asphalt. If we are going to lay cobblestone paths in our garden, it is worth renting a suitable compactor from us first, in order to prepare the ground well for this. Paving blocks laid on optimally hardened ground will be stable, even and will serve us longer. Without proper hardening of the ground with a compactor, the paving stones may sink or dangerous ruts will form. The compactor will also prove useful when we want to spread ourselves gravel paths for easy access to different parts of the garden.
What compactor to choose?
When renting a compactor from our construction equipment rental company, we must first of all keep in mind the nature of the work we plan to do. An important piece of information, which should have a significant impact on the choice of the right device, is the type of substrate present in our garden. A rarer substrate (such as sand) will require a more powerful compactor. When choosing the right type of compactor, let's pay attention to its power, capacity, compaction depth, vibration level, volume and impact frequency. We should also be interested in the travel speed and the size of the working plate. For large areas, choose faster compactors with larger plates. In hard-to-reach areas, smaller sized units will work better.
