Construction of the S5 expressway

During the construction of the S5 expressway, Ramirent construction equipment rental with branches in Bydgoszcz and Grudziądz provided the necessary equipment for the demanding construction work. Our construction machines were crucial at every stage of the construction of the road section, from Poznań to Nowe Marzy. The road rollers and compactors hired guaranteed optimum compaction of the road surface, ensuring the durability and stability of the road. Excavators, in turn, enabled efficient site preparation and precise excavation, while compressors and hammers supported the various demolition and new construction jobs.

In addition, our off-road basket lifts proved invaluable in the construction of road culverts. Thanks to their mobility and precision, it was possible to carry out safe work at height, which was crucial for the installation of infrastructure elements and for maintaining the project's high quality standards.

CHALLENGE:

The biggest challenge on this project was the construction of a road salt storage facility, part of a road maintenance facility. The reliable Genie Z135 aerial work platform, with an impressive side reach of 24.5 m and a maximum working height of 43 m, was perfect for the work requiring precise access to the central part of the warehouse roof.
