Olsztyn Central Railway Station

The thorough modernisation of Olsztyn Central Station includes the demolition of the 1945 building and the construction of a modern facility that meets the highest standards of safety and comfort. Work began in October 2023 and is scheduled for completion on 25 February 2025. The new station at 1 Konstytucji 3 Maja Square will improve functionality and passenger service standards.

In the implementation of this project, the Ramirent construction equipment rental company in Olsztyn provided comprehensive support, ensuring the rental of the necessary construction equipment including lifts, containers, generators, telescopic and articulated loaders, a 13-tonne roller and demolition hammers. This enabled the earthworks, demolition and finishing works to be carried out efficiently, as well as ensuring continuity of operations.

CHALLENGE

The challenging terrain required a specialist trailer to deliver the machinery safely. Daily visits from the tradesman and branch manager allowed for rapid equipment selection, while technical support ensured timely project completion through rapid repairs and maintenance.
